Tour De Proviso: A Community Ride Through Proviso Township

On Saturday, October 5th, the West Cook County Youth Club (WCCYC) proudly joined the annual Tour De Proviso bike ride, bringing together over 100 cyclists for an exhilarating journey through Proviso Township. Among the riders were our very own Ed Sheehan and Jonathan Truman, who represented WCCYC with enthusiasm and energy.

A Family Affair on Two Wheels

The event wasn’t just about the ride; it was about community, connection, and family. Joining Sheehan and Truman were club member Yurem Cortez and his family, club member Christopher Gray and his family, and former club members Armond and Ashley Fox. Together, they completed the 6-mile ride, showcasing the spirit of teamwork and camaraderie that defines WCCYC.

It was a day filled with smiles, determination, and the joy of being part of an active and vibrant community. We are grateful to all who participated and represented the club so wonderfully, and we hope this event serves as inspiration for more of our club families to come out and join us next year!

Looking Ahead

Events like Tour De Proviso highlight the importance of staying active, engaging with our community, and building strong relationships. We’re already looking forward to next year’s ride and hope to see even more of our WCCYC families and members pedaling alongside us. Keep your eyes peeled for updates, and let’s continue to create amazing memories together, one bike ride at a time!
