On November 21st, the spirit of Thanksgiving came alive at the West Cook County Youth Club as we partnered with Electrical Workers Local #9 for our annual food giveaway. This heartwarming event exemplified the power of community and generosity.
Thanks to Local 9’s incredible support, we were able to provide Thanksgiving dinners to 50 of our families and friends. This act of kindness not only brought joy to many but also strengthened the bond within our community.
As we gathered to distribute the meals, the air was filled with a sense of gratitude and togetherness. Each basket, filled with traditional Thanksgiving fare, was more than just a meal; it was a symbol of hope and caring.
